A dark entity has entered the forest of Taiga. It brings with it the desire to burn, destroy and kill everything within the forest. The animals, the people, the Jötnar can all feel its presence, and fear there is no hope against this dark soul.

All animals, creatures and beasts seek shelter from the coming storm. A storm like no other. A storm of which it's coming has been known for a long time. The Jötnar are losing hope against the Dark Entity. They may not be able to keep the Phoenix dormant for much longer.

It's coming. The Dark Entity is too powerful. The Jötnar are failing to keep it from waking the Phoenix. They know that once the Phoenix awakes, there is no hope for protecting the forest. They must make a decision of which will cost their existence.

It is decided. The last Jötunn is giving its life to protect the last remaining Tribals. For they are young, and will learn much more than this Jötunn can ever imagine. They are the last hope for the forest.

The Phoenix has awoken. With no Jötnar left in Taiga, the Tribals leave the forest of which they will one day return and rebuild. The Phoenix has woken too early and seeks destruction. Its wings span across the forest like shadows of the mountains in the early morning. Embers drop across the forest and light a flame.

The Phoenix has blocked the sun, eclipsing Taiga. As the last of the animals look into the sky, all that's seen is bright, glowing embers falling towards them. Their inevitable fall is coming right before their eyes. The fall of Taiga is upon.

A storm has come. Embers fall. A single tree is struck by lightning. Fire rises and spreads quick. The final sun of Taiga has fallen.

The fires are spreading across Taiga, bringing the legends of the Jötnar to an end as the Phoenix is released, gliding across the Boreal Forest, dropping embers through the trees.

The Tribes of Taiga are wearing thin as the fire spreads. Jötnar give their lives to protect the last of the Tribes, hoping their survival will bring hope to the forest again one day soon.
